DFL Legal was created in March 2010 by five former partners of an international law firm with offices located around the world and with headquarters situated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We are construction litigation attorneys and counselors who have dedicated our entire careers towards the resolution of construction and engineering disputes. The principal focus of our practice over the last 30 years has been on process, industrial and power projects and some of the industry’s largest and most complex mega-projects.

Regardless of the industry segment or project venue, the founding partners of DFL Legal have spent a substantial amount of their practice dealing with turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and the EPC project delivery model. Our practice focus also includes negotiating and drafting construction industry contracts, insurance coverage for construction industry claims, international arbitration and complex, commercial litigation.
