The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is the U.S. national trade association for companies that market products and services directly to consumers through an independent, entrepreneurial salesforce. It operates within the government relations services space, offering advocacy, communications and research for member company executives and hosting forums for networking and education. Based in Washington, DC, the organization serves a mid-sized community of direct selling companies. Direct selling involves millions of Americans across all states, and in 2014 it contributed more than $34 billion to the U.S. economy. The DSA also maintains a LinkedIn group for member executives and suppliers to learn about association events and register for meetings. In January 2025, the organization named Dave Grimaldi as chief executive officer.
