Diversified Enterprises is a nationally accredited provider of person-centered services and supports that ensure individuals living with developmental disabilities can live, work and engage in their communities. Our agency is governed by the Tift County Board of Health. Mission: To empower individuals supported to live, work and participate fully in their communities. Vision: To release the potential of the individuals supported to live the life that they love. Diversified Enterprises is committed to providing innovative employment, community and residential supports for people with disabilities. We strive to provide people with developmental disabilities opportunities to make contributions while establishing and maintaining relationships with their community. We serve approximately 110 people in 8 counties. Person-Centered Supports and Services: • Supported Employment-Diversified Enterprises embraces the concept of “Employment First” which is a paradigm that presumes that all people, including people with the most significant disabilities, can work for competitive wages and in their community, given the proper supports and services. • Community Supports-These supports can be provided in a person’s home or in the community. We support people so they can fully participate and engage in their community which may include volunteerism, recreation, civic engagement and other interests that create a community connection. We strive to connect people some build friendships and natural supports in their communities. • Residential Supports: Diversified Enterprises offers a variety of residential supports ranging from small group homes for 3-4 people, individualized supports in apartments and in-home supports for people who live with their families or host home/life sharing partnerships. The goal is always to assure that the options are first and foremost considered “home” and that the people who live there are able to fully participate in their communities.
