Dolezal Design is a dynamic San Francisco Bay Area design group led by Doug Dolezal. An interior, culinary and landscape designer, Doug has more than 22 years of experience infusing his clients’ homes with energy and vibrancy that reflect their unique personalities. Doug’s natural eye for scale and talent for the use of color enables him to transform homeowners’ visions into beautiful and comfortable living spaces.

Doug got his start in the Bay Area design industry in 1991. As a founding partner of Miller/Dolezal Design, Doug oversaw hundreds of design projects and received numerous awards for design work throughout Northern California. From 2001 to 2014, Doug operated Dolezal Design Group from Rancho Santa Fe, where he oversaw design projects throughout Southern California, delivered speeches on DIY design practices and hosted countless events at his home – Hacienda Palomita – a Dolezal Design renovation 12 years in the making!

Having returned to Northern California, Doug is in the midst of remodeling a new five-acre property in Petaluma, affectionately dubbed “Songbird Grange,” and is spearheading a number of comprehensive design projects throughout the region. In addition to providing full-scale interior design and architectural detailing services, Dolezal Design offers a range of services including hourly design consultation for both residential and commercial projects.
