Vicki Wilson, President & Founder started roasting in 1993 in a 2,000 sq. ft. facility. Coming from the corporate world as a buyer (Ben Franklin & Shopko), she took a risk with her two young boys and began her dream: roasting top-quality coffee. Roasting in the morning and delivering in the afternoon – she found that there was increasing demand from consumers for quality coffee, at an affordable-luxury price and growth ensued. Fast forward to 2022… the building is a little bigger (20X+ the size) and more employees were added including: her husband (Doug), her son (Doug JR.), her second son (Conrad) and her daughter-in-law (Amanda). Through nearly 30 years of roasting and distributing – Door County Coffee has not only survived but thrived through tough times, but thrived. It is our hope that we can help you achieve your goals and give consumers the best tasting coffee they’ve ever had!
