Downes Tree Service, a company that has served New Jersey for more than 30 years. Consisting of 150+ employees, we operate as a full-service environmental, landscape, and site-management organization with multiple divisions. We offer residential, commercial, government, and municipal services across New Jersey, and have expanded operations into other states along the East Coast.

🌳 Tree Services

We handle all phases of tree work including removals, pruning, and stump grinding. Our team includes multiple NJ Licensed Tree Experts and certified arborists, and we manage large-scale municipal, government, and DOT contracts.

🚛 Trucking & Recycling

Our recycling operation processes all incoming green waste into mulch or soil, ensuring zero landfill waste. We offer container rentals (dumpster), a drop-off yard, and supply mulch, topsoil, and seasoned firewood for pickup or delivery.

🌱 Lawn & Plant Health Care

We provide complete lawn programs (synthetic and organic), aeration and seeding, fertilization, insect and disease control, invasive species management, and hydroseeding for new turf and erosion control. All services are performed by certified pesticide applicators.

⛳ Golf Course & Grounds Management

We support golf courses and large properties with turf management, tree care, and long-term plant health care strategies.
