DPSS Lasers designs and manufactures ultraviolet laser marking systems that operate at 355 nm. Their compact units deliver high peak power and fast repetition rates for marking and engraving on materials such as HDPE, ceramics, plastics, and metals. The UV process provides a small spot with a deep depth of focus and minimizes thermal impact, enabling damage-free markings on many substrates. 

The company traces its origins to a DPSS laser group within LiCONiX, Inc., and began operating as a separate entity in 1998, based in Santa Clara, California, serving the appliances, electrical, and electronics manufacturing sector. In March 2025, Laserax announced its acquisition of DPSS Lasers.
