Born from the merger between Government-owned Heavy Industries Corporation of Malaysia Berhad (HICOM) and Diversified Resources Berhad (DRB) in 1996, DRB-HICOM turned 112-year-old in 2022. Over the long history of the company, it actively built its portfolio in creating end-to-end value chains for its key businesses. In recent years, DRB-HICOM has also embarked on a rationalisation strategy to dispose non-core assets, thus implementing a leaner and more efficient developmental resources management plan.
