Our medical center is equipped with 149 patient rooms, all of which are private and furnished with full bathrooms, telephones, Wi-Fi and televisions.

East Georgia Regional Medical Center features a Women’s Pavilion and an adjacent professional office building. Our healthcare team consists of approximately 1000 employees and over 170 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The expansion of medical services and an increase in professional staff, along with our investment in technology, has established our reputation for setting a higher medical standard. We offer a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, outpatient services including same day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain center, wound healing center, cardiac catheterization lab, and an advanced imaging department including nuclear medicine, MRI, 128 slice CT, PACS and PET scans.

As a Joint Commission accredited hospital, East Georgia Regional Medical Center is concerned for the care and safety of our patients. East Georgia Regional Medical Center is owned in part by physicians.
