Eastern National is a not-for-profit cooperating association that supports the National Park Service and other public trust partners. It delivers supplemental funding and services to parks for acquisitions, special events, educational or interpretive programs, and research grants. Its educational arm, America's National Parks, works to promote public understanding of national parks by providing educational experiences, products, and services to visitors. Based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, the organization has operated since 1948 and partners with more than 150 national parks as well as other public trusts such as the U.S. Forest Service and the Army Corps of Engineers. In 2023, Eastern National added two new members to its board of directors, Jennifer Wofford and Stan Austin.
