Easterseals of the Birmingham Area is a Birmingham-based nonprofit operating in the field of individual and family services. Its mission centers on creating solutions to improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities or other special needs and their families, and it pursues advocacy to support people with disabilities in the community. The organization provides employment services for adolescents and adults with disabilities, including vocational assessment and counseling, job readiness training, computer skills instruction, job coaching, and advocacy in the business community.

Its Pediatric department delivers speech, physical, and occupational therapy for children from birth through age 21, and offers assistive feeding therapy and sensory integration services. The program also runs summer camp experiences that apply therapeutic interventions in practical, engaging activities within a safe environment. In addition, it administers a Medical Assistance Grant of up to $500 for medical items and sponsors participation in Camp ASCCA, an Easterseals Alabama Affiliate that provides camping experiences for kids with disabilities.
