EDFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) who's  mission is 
"Connecting money and ideas with entrepreneurs in order to improve the social and/or economic conditions of underserved people, creating sustainable prosperity in Mendocino and surrounding counties”

EDFC offers a range of services to new and existing businesses. We operate a Business Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) for Mendocino County businesses to provide gap financing for projects, which encourage job creation, investment and expansion. We also incubate economic development projects, providing fiduciary responsibility and organizational structure.

EDFC's 21 member board includes city council members for each of the 4 cities in Mendocino County as well as two Mendocino County Supervisors. The rest of the board is comprised of business, banking, non-profit and other interested community members.
