EdgeMicro is a Denver, Colorado-based IT services and IT consulting company with 11-50 employees. It develops micro data centers intended to bring content, computation, and connectivity to the mobile network edge, enabling collaboration between mobile network operators and content providers to improve user experience and reduce churn. The company uses a proprietary Edge Traffic Exchange (ETX) technology that enables Local IP Access at cellular towers, reducing the need for backhaul to core data centers and improving latency. EdgeMicro provides an end-to-end solution for deploying edge infrastructure, including site location and qualification, engineering and design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, 24/7 monitoring, and IT services. In its recent history, EdgeMicro expanded facilities to Cleveland and has pursued financing and partnerships in 2019–2020, including engagements with Cloudflare and Murphy Company, and launched the EdgeMicro Connectivity Enablement service.
