Educate! operates in the education sector with a focus on expanding youth employment opportunities in East Africa. It pursues this by introducing an employment-oriented subject in secondary education and by running livelihood bootcamps for young people who lack access to secondary schooling, with particular attention to girls in rural communities. The organization leverages iterative learning to develop scalable solutions that help youth learn, earn, and thrive in the modern economy. Headquartered in Kampala, Uganda, Educate! has impacted more than 600,000 youths across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, and it has become the largest provider of youth employment and skills in East Africa. Independent evaluations have documented positive outcomes related to income, employment, gender equity, health and family planning, educational attainment, and climate resilience. A recent development is the December 2025 National Business Pitch Competition Boot Camp in Rwanda, organized with the Rwanda Basic Education Board and partners.
