Elwell-Parker is an American machinery manufacturer with more than 120 years of experience in lift trucks and other material-handling equipment. Founded in 1893, the company built a legacy of engineering-driven problem solving that helped shape the early material-handling industry, including the first powered platform truck in 1906 and innovations that led to the electric forklift. Its product range has included lift trucks, coil handlers, die handlers, and a variety of specialized and custom-application vehicles used in ports, industrial centers, and other settings around the world. Today, the company is based in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of H&K Equipment of Pittsburgh. The original Cleveland facility was closed in 2000, and since 2010 the Elwell-Parker brand has continued under H&K as the OEM for all Elwell-Parker products. The organization offers repair, restoration, or upgrades across makes and models and can design and build new machines for specialized applications to support material-handling needs.
