EMBolic Acceleration is a company founded to address unmet needs in embolization and occlusion.

Our process is unique in that we start with a set of unmet needs from the perspective of the interventionalist to learn what they desire to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes in a time and cost effective manner.

Armed with this perspective, we started the product development process with a "blank page" in terms of potential devices to create the "ideal" occlusion solution that would serve the unmet needs exceedingly well.

From there, our team uniquely develops solutions in a "fractional manner" meaning the exact right expert contributes to the project when needed all throughout the design, development and regulatory process.

The resulting first product is the HourGlass™ embolization plug.
