Emergency Food Network is a nonprofit based in Pierce County, Washington, focused on ensuring residents have reliable access to a diverse and nutritious food supply to help prevent hunger. The organization operates two core programs: a 20,000-square-foot Distribution Center in Lakewood for storage and distribution (home to the Repack Project) and an eight-acre Mother Earth Farm in Puyallup that yields fresh produce. These assets enable EFN to move food from land to tables and to support a network of more than 70 partner pantries, meal sites, and shelters. In 2020, Pierce County recorded over 1.9 million visits to food pantries, with EFN supplying more than 18.5 million pounds of food to its partner network. For every dollar donated, EFN provides five meals to neighbors in need.
