Launched in 2021, the eMOD Safety Inc. comes from a team of experienced commercial construction superintendents, project managers, and safety officers from San Francisco-based general contractor. Safety is more than a passion; we’ve built a company and a product dedicated to making our industry safer. 

The eMOD Safety platform is designed for the next-generation of construction owners, insurance companies, general contractors, subcontractors, and tradespeople. 

Construction workers and management are under increasing pressure to deliver on-time and under-budget, despite facing increasing regulations and always-changing hazards, such as COVID-19. Meanwhile, most construction companies rely on institutionalized, static, and opaque paper processes for critical safety planning functions. These analog processes lead to poor accountability, a lack of foresight, zero visibility, low productivity, and an inability to continuously improve.

The eMOD Safety App leverages mobile technology to facilitate safety, from planning a project to all throughout the construction process. The cloud-based digital platform allows organizations to efficiently manage, track, and comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations right from their fingertips. To facilitate safety prior to the start of projects, eMOD includes features such as safety onboarding, job hazard analysis (JHA), pre-task planning workflows, toolbox talks, and worker certifications. The app also includes COVID-19 safety features, such as contact tracing, screening, job-site entry surveys, cloud-based documentation, and customizable COVID-19 safety audits. Finally, it offers real-time metrics and reporting so you’ll always know the safety status of your jobs.
