The Engine Alliance (EA) makes the quietest, most reliable, most fuel efficient engine for the Airbus A380, with an annual advantage worth up to $6 million USD. Founded in 1996, the EA is a 50-50 joint venture between GE Aviation and Pratt & Whitney (P&W).
