eNow is the industry leader in mobile solar systems for commercial transportation – with thousands of our systems installed and operating on trucks and trailers throughout North America. eNow systems are proven to reduce fleet operating and maintenance costs, including fuel, batteries, road service, and engine maintenance. eNow systems also help fleets meet anti-idling and emissions regulations. Payback periods range from 6 to 18 months depending on the application. 

The company has been designing, developing, and marketing its proprietary mobile solar systems since 2011. eNow’s end-user customers include large and small private fleets, commercial carriers, as well as independent truck owner-operators.

Key components of the eNow system are a thin, lightweight, semi-solar photovoltaic (PV) panel and an MPPT charge controller. The eNow charge controller monitors battery voltage and supplies optimal charging power from the solar panel to maintain a healthy battery or state-of-charge. This extends battery life by two to three times and reduces issues from dead batteries. 

Primary applications are for medium and heavy-duty trucks, commercial buses, school buses, and emergency vehicles. Power needs for these vehicles include HVAC and hotel loads, liftgates, refrigeration, telematics, and emergency lighting.  eNow solar system sizes range from 25-watts (for telematics, security, and safety systems) to 6,000 watts (for eNow solar-electric trailer refrigeration systems).

eNow also works closely with industry channel partners that include leading OEM manufacturers of tractors, trailers, liftgates, HVAC and refrigeration systems.
