A Note From the President:
 

Twenty years ago, I was a research subject in one of the original studies showing light therapy successfully treating Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or the winter blues.  I feel fortunate to have learned about light therapy so early in the research of SAD.  Light boxes made it possible for me to enjoy winter, and I have had 19 years of seasonal depression free northwest winters.  Light therapy has effectively given me back 5 months out of each year.  My desire is to make it possible for everyone to have access to effective light therapy by designing Bio-Lights to strict scientific standards and keeping them affordable.
