Formed in 1974, SWACHA is The Electronic Payments Resource®. We are a Direct Member of NACHA, and a specially recognized and licensed provider of ACH education, publications and support. Today, the Association has approximately 1,100 member financial institutions, businesses, and government agencies located in Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. SWACHA operates under the direction of a member-elected board of directors and is assisted by a number of advisory committees populated by senior and executive officers of member organizations. Laura Steele, AAP, is the President and Chief Executive Officer. Supporting Laura Steele are directors of training and education and member and risk management services. SWACHA is affiliated with many industry organizations and agencies in order to provide a complete array of services and capabilities to its members.
