Erickson Contract Surveying, Inc. (E.C.S., Inc.) is a multi disciplinary surveying firm based out of Sidney, Montana, in the heart of the Bakken Oilfield.  We were founded in 1967 by Monty J. Erickson as a single plane table seismic survey crew.  Since then we have diversified into pipeline route surveying, oil well staking, construction staking, property surveying, as built surveying and seismic surveying utilizing our 30+ survey crews throughout the continental United States.

 We are currently implementing the first Real-time Network (RTN) in the region and have successfully installed 5 GPS reference stations strategically placed throughout Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana to better serve our clients.  All of our Real-time survey crews are now receiving real-time corrections off of wifi smart phones via the cellular network, eliminating the need for GPS base stations, making them much more efficient.
