Essilor Vision Foundation is a public charity that empowers children to reach their full potential by giving them the ability to see clearly. 

The Issue
Good vision is crucial for learning, yet 1 in 4 children have a vision problem that affects their ability to learn. The number of children with vision problems climbs even higher in lower-income children. In the U.S. alone, there are millions of children who cannot see the world clearly.
It is important to note that vision impacts every aspect of a child’s life from learning, confidence, social interactions and particpiating in activities such as sports, art, or music.

With this in mind, Essilor Vision Foundation focuses on providing children with a better life through better sight through multiple intiatives: 
- Providing exams and glasses to schools with our mobile vision clinics
- Organizing community intiatives
- Supporting local service organizations

Who We Are:
Essilor Vision Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public, non-profit organization, based in Dallas, Texas, committed to eliminating poor vision and it’s lifelong consequences. Our programs focus on overcoming the barriers of vision care so fewer children slip through the cracks.
