History Mike Reilly and John Hansen founded ETher NDE Ltd on 1st January 2010. Mike was previously Group Managing Director of Sonatest PLC from 1989 to 2009, during which time the group grew from a $2m to $25m business. John was Senior Staff Engineer for Eddy Current NDT at GE Inspection Technologies, St Albans, UK (previously Hocking NDT). John is the immediate past Chairman of the BINDT Trade Group as well as being a BINDT Council Member, BINDT UK Engineering Council Representative and ordinary member of various other committee and for ASTM he serves on the Electromagnetic and DICONDE Committees (where he is the Eddy Current Technical Contact). The founders of Ether NDE have combined industry experience of 63 years. Our Team Collectively the ETher NDE team has over 150 years of NDT experience with many of the team members being part of the previous Hocking company. With a solid history in NDT, our team is dedicated to offering extensive Eddy Current NDT knowledge and the best in client service at all times. Within the ETher NDE offices we house the Hardware, Software, Probe Manaufacturing, Electronics, Sales and Marketing teams.
