Evergreen Builders and Construction is a Tri-State General Contractor and Construction lead by it's founder and pioneer in the NYC world of construction, Barbara Kavovit. Barbara has been in the construction industry her entire adult life and was previously CEO of Anchor Construction. It was there that she became certified by Governor Cuomo and New York State as a Women Business Enterprise and was Crain's "100 Most Influential Women in Business." Barbara has been profiled in many national publications and a speaker on "marketing to women" and "women in business. Barbara has published two books on Home Improvement, "Room For Improvement" and "Invest in Your Nest" (Rodale Press), had a column in the Real Estate Section of the NY Post for 6 years and has been featured on many morning shows. Barbara also created a line of tools especially designed for women under the brand, Barbara K! Barbara's first construction contract with IBM gave her the experience and credentials to go on to build many corporate facilities, retail and base building work. She continues her mission, passion and drive for transformation with Evergreen and is excited to be part of the fast past world of the New York City construction industry.
