Experience Aviation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization based at Opa-Locka Executive Airport in Miami, Florida. In 2005, at the age of 21, Barrington Irving founded Experience Aviation to motivate youth and address the shortage of technically skilled professionals in aviation, aerospace, and related career fields. The organization operates a 3,100-square-foot learning center in a space it shares with an airport hanger. Successful programs that have been offered at the center and at community partner facilities include a 9-week after-school Discover Aviation course; a 10-week Build & Soar project; Inspiration Career Tours; and a career development/internship program.

MISSION
To inspire young people to identify and pursue their dreams through aviation-related programs designed to build math, science, reading, and problem-solving skills.
