Current Job Openings: Logistics Supervisor OVERVIEW As the Logistics Supervisor for Express Freight, you’ll work in the brokered division with an amazing team who takes care of meeting customer’s shipping needs throughout the US, from one box to a trailer load. No two days will be the same! PAY AND BENEFITS • Competitive salary • Medical, Dental, and Vision • 401k with company match • PTO, Sick Time, and Paid Holidays • Casual Work Attire DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES • Negotiate rates with customers and carriers; increase profitability • Supervise booking shipments relating to Full Trailer and Less than Trailer Load shipping. • Providing quotes and following up to potential and existing customers • Supervise assigning and dispatching o loads to carriers, tracking and tracing loads from pick up to delivery • Ensure vendor files are maintained with updated insurance and documentation • Grow brokerage desk-via new and existing customers REQUIREMENTS: • Two or more years of experience in a transportation environment • BS/BA degree from an accredited institution definitely a BIG PLUS • A love of operations, willing to be flexible and creative to meet all customer needs • Obsessive about being amazing at what they do, self-motivated team player who loves to take ownership / drive tasks to completion and excels in a fast-paced environment • Learns new things and can execute on tasks quickly • Proficiency with computer /technology skills including MS Office Suite, GoogleDocs, Social media To apply, please visit: www.express-freight.workable.com and fill out an application.
