EYDAP is a major Greek utility focusing on water supply, sewerage, and wastewater treatment for the Athens metropolitan area. It provides drinking water to about 4.4 million customers through a network spanning roughly 14,000 kilometers, with sources and reservoirs located in regions free from agricultural and industrial activity. Its sewerage system serves around 3.5 million residents across nearly 9,500 kilometers of sewers, supported by an integrated management approach intended to safeguard public health. EYDAP's origins trace to a 1980 act that merged the city's water provider with the Greater Athens Sewerage Organization. In 1999, major assets were transferred to a state-owned entity, EYDAP Fixed Assets, while EYDAP S.A. continued to operate them under a corresponding arrangement. The company was listed on the Athens Stock Exchange in January 2000.
