The Fair Housing Center for Rights & Research is a nonprofit organization dedicated to safeguarding and broadening fair housing rights, eliminating housing discrimination, and fostering more integrated communities in Northeast Ohio. It pursues these aims through research, educational programs, public policy work, and enforcement efforts designed to ensure equal access to housing for all residents. The organization traces its roots to Cleveland, originally established in 1983 as the Metropolitan Strategy Group and operating publicly under the name Housing Research & Advocacy Center from 2003 through 2018. 

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the center serves residents across the region as a specialized fair housing agency rather than a broad grassroots coalition. It maintains a small to mid-sized staff to carry out its research, education, policy work, and enforcement activities. In 2024, it partnered with the Home Repair Resource Center to launch the Black & Latinx Community Reinvestment Fund Home Repair Program, reflecting a collaborative approach to addressing housing needs.
