Fairway Medical first opened in October 2000 as a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center owned and operated by 33 physicians with a distinctive vision: to place the genuine care and comfort of patients and families above all else, delivering a level of personalized service that would redefine the standards of health care. In just three short years, we grew by almost 150%, testimony to the public's appreciation of the difference at Fairway Medical. In 2004, we began expansion of our facility and were licensed in 2005 as a fully accredited acute care surgical hospital. Today, we have 21 private suites for patients requiring overnight care. With a nurse to patient ratio that is lower than the national average, and over 130 physicians on staff, personalized patient care and attention to the family needs are still the hallmarks of Fairway Medical.
