Falken Tyre Europe operates as the European arm of Falken, a brand owned by Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd, a large Japanese tyre manufacturer described as the world's sixth-largest. The company leverages insights from motorsport experiences to inform its serial production, integrating knowledge gained on track into its standard tire lineup. Its range includes all-season, summer, and winter tires for passenger cars, trucks, light-commercial vehicles, and SUVs, aiming at a balance of performance and value. The European operation is based in Offenbach an der Queich, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, and maintains a mid-sized workforce. Its manufacturing framework preserves ISO-based quality and environmental management systems, with plants certified to ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001 standards. In 2026, Falken Tyre Europe was involved in BRV awards within the German tyre trade community, progressing from a finalist position to a BRV Service Award recipient.
