Founded in 2004 by Susan and Duane Hoff, Fantesca Estate & Winery is a boutique, family-owned estate on Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain. With 14 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards, sweeping views, and a 300-foot wine cave, Fantesca produces limited cases annually, offering a rare combination of intimacy and world-class winemaking.

Rooted in a legacy that dates back to 1860, when the land was the dowry of Caroline Bale upon her marriage to Charles Krug, Fantesca continues a tradition of innovation and strong female influence. The estate takes its name from “La Fantesca,” a charismatic and bold character from Italy’s Commedia dell’Arte, symbolizing the balance of sophistication and approachability that defines the winery.

Fantesca’s portfolio, guided by Consulting Winemaker Tony Arcudi and Associate Winemaker Chelsea Hoff, showcases world-class wines sourced from acclaimed vineyards and crafted with precision, vision, and respect for terroir. Beyond its own wines, Fantesca is home to a thriving custom crush program, with state-of-the-art facilities supporting both boutique producers and private clients.
