Founded in 2004 by Susan and Duane Hoff, Fantesca Estate & Winery is a boutique, family-owned estate on Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain. Rooted in a legacy that dates back to 1860, when the land was the dowry of Caroline Bale upon her marriage to Charles Krug, Fantesca continues a tradition of innovation and strong female influence. The estate takes its name from “La Fantesca,” a charismatic and bold character from Italy’s Commedia dell’Arte, symbolizing the balance of sophistication and approachability that defines the winery.
