Fantic Motor Ltd., was founded in 1968 in Barzago (Lecco-Milan, Italy). In the 70’s Fantic become the second largest Italian motorcycle manufacturer and one of the most known motorcycles brands, thanks to the Caballero models, a myth for young people at the time. In the 80’s Fantic become leader in trial off-road competitions, winning three World titles in 1985, 1986, 1988. Today Fantic, located in Treviso-Venice, continues to develop a highly technological range of products. On 1st October 2014 Fantic was acquired by VeNetWork, a network of first class entrepreneurs based in North East Italy that invest in hi-potential Italian business. The new CEO is Mariano Roman, for more than twenty years technical director of Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Laverda.

In 2015 Fantic entered the e-bike market with a new product line of electric bicycles (offroad and urban). 

In November 2016, at Eicma, Motorcycle Milan Trade Show, besides the presentation of the whole new range of motorcycles in 2017, Fantic showed the new Fantic Caballero and described its new project. The new Caballero range will be available in 3 different engine capacities - 125cc, 250 and 500cc - and in two different versions, Scrambler and Flat Track.
At Eicma 2017 Fantic presents the new industrialized Caballero range. 
The 2018 begins with a prestigious award for Fantic XF1 Integra: 
the “Design and Innovation Awards” of the prestigious german magazine E-Mtb Magazine.
The new proposal for Fantic Motor urban mobility debuts at Eicma 2019: it's called Fantic Issimo and it is an electric vehicle with pedal assistance and low wheel, which will soon be available also in S-Pedelec version (up to 45 km / h).
Great interest around E-Cab, Caballero with 11Kw electric motor, which can be ridden with an A1 license.
