Faribault Mill is a textile manufacturer based in Faribault, Minnesota, founded in 1865 along the Cannon River. It is the last remaining U.S. mill that finishes woolens from raw wool entirely under one roof. The company produces blankets, throws, scarves and other woolen accessories designed to last for generations. The historic mill building, originally constructed in 1897, has become a notable site for designers and enthusiasts of American craftsmanship. Its products are carried by fashion, gift, home and specialty retailers, as well as catalogs and online outlets across the United States and increasingly abroad. In late 2022, the company launched Spread the Warmth, a philanthropic program that donates blankets to nonprofits serving young people experiencing homelessness.
