Fay & Grafton is an Immigration and Criminal Defense firm with offices in Raleigh and Asheville, NC. William Fay founded the firm in 2005. As a defense attorney, he has built a reputation for aggressively and creatively defending his clients' rights. He has represented thousands of clients on charges ranging from DUI/DWI and traffic violations to larceny, assault, and misdemeanor and felony drug charges. He has been certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in Standardized Field Sobriety Test Administration. He often teaches courses to other practicing attorneys on effective ways to represent their clients in North Carolina courtrooms for organizations such as Law Review CLE and the Wake County Academy of Criminal Trial Lawyers. In July of 2016, he expands the firm to add an office in Asheville, North Carolina. Rebekah Grafton is a former trial attorney for the Department of Homeland Security in the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division. She is prepared to put years of experience litigating on behalf of the government to work for you. She is not only skilled in the complicated nuances of immigration law, but in her unique experience she has also become well-versed in the policies that guide the filing of applications. Phillip Liles is a former Wake County Assistant District Attorney who now manages the criminal defense practice at Fay & Grafton. Phillip worked as a juvenile prosecutor, a domestic violence prosecutor, and served in the general rotation prosecuting cases in District and Superior Court ranging from simple speeding tickets through murder. Ana Nuñez works in both our Immigration and our Criminal Defense practice areas. A former immigrant herself, Ana joins us from the Wake County Public Defender's office where she turned heads with trial skills seasoned beyond her years and a knack for getting results for her clients.
