Founded in 1908, Inter is recognised as one of the world's most successful football teams. In 2018, Inter founded Inter Women by acquiring the sports rights of A.S.D Femminile Inter Milano. The team competes in Serie A and plays its home games at the Arena Civica in Milano. Active in 18 countries across 4 continents, the Inter Academy is a programme for foreign partners to invest in the growth and development of youth football. The aim is to spread Inter's knowledge and coaching philosophy by taking care of both the human and the sports side of football by educating coaches. Est. 1997 and active in over 30 countries, Inter Campus use football as an educational tool to restore the right to play to vulnerable children aged 6-13. Inter Campus was officially presented to the United Nations in November 2012 in recognition of Inter’s social commitments in football.
