Founded in 1954, FHM Insurance Company is a long-standing workers’ comp carrier in the industry. FHM originally began as the Florida Hotel-Motel Self Insurer’s Fund eventually converting to a mutual insurer in 1996 as FHM Insurance Company. Since its conversion, FHM has significantly diversified, insuring employers in a wide variety of industries. FHM Insurance has also grown to write coverage in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Adding a new chapter to the company’s history, in 2020 FHM Insurance Company was acquired by LUBA Casualty Insurance Company providing an additional coverage option to its policyholders and agency partners.
