Field & Flower was founded by James Flower and James Mansfield, a farmer and a food lover who met at agricultural college. In 2011 Field & Flower was founded on James Flower’s family beef farm in the heart of the Gordano Valley in Somerset. We care about traditional British farming, so we set out to deliver the highest quality grass-fed, free-range beef straight to people’s homes. 

Things have come a long way since then. We now work with some of the best independent Somerset farmers and fishermen who share our animal welfare and sustainability values. We think everyone deserves to know where their meat comes from, so everything we deliver is sourced by James Flower.

We have created a short and sustainable food chain that treats people fairly, from our small team to our farmers and customers. Delivering award-winning quality meat and fish combined with exceptional customer service is the foundation of what we do.
