Field Law Group was formed in 2005 when Gary L. Field, Gary A. Gensch, Jr. and Hai Jiang left Loomis, Ewert, Parsley, Davis & Gotting, P.C. to start their own practice.  With Norman C. Witte, Joy L. Witte, and Matthew G. Davis providing significant assistance on an Of–Counsel basis, the Firm has thrived.  Leah J. Brooks came on board in October of 2009.  Together, these attorneys have decades of utility law practice before administrative tribunals, state and federal courts.

           Field Law Group represents a range of commercial clients, from upstart telecommunications companies to alternative gas suppliers to publicly traded energy corporations.  The Firm has handled a range of issues, including the overturning of state statutes on constitutional grounds, securing local rights-of-way for installation of energy and telecommunications infrastructure, maneuvering through corporate bankruptcies, and negotiating contracts between telecommunications providers to interconnect their networks.
