Custom tooling is designed using your wood sample or existing print to your exact specification. Keeping your tools sharp is our passion! Using Vollmer CNC machines keeps your tools cutting smoothly cut after cut. Pick-up and delivery service is available; our “on the road” sales team services Western New York, Northwest Pennsylvania and Western Ohio. If you are outside of our “road team” area we do offer shipping through UPS or the USPS. Filegar Cutting Technologies began in Forest Filegar’s garage in 1960. Since that humble beginning Filegar Cutting Technologies has grown to be recognized as the only Western New York sharpening service dedicated to getting the job done right in a timely manner. We are a family owned business. Neal Gustafson purchased Filegar Saw and Tool in 2005 from three partners (two of who were Forest Filegar’s sons) and changed the name to Filegar Cutting Technologies which is better reflects all the services and products offered.
