Financiera Comultrasan is a Colombian financial services cooperative based in Bucaramanga, Santander. Originating in 1962 as a savings and credit cooperative formed by local associates, it grew from a multi-cooperative group focused on workers in Santander into a standalone financial entity. The organization serves members and customers through its financial activities, reflecting a long-standing commitment to improving members’ lives and supporting regional development. It operates within the financial services sector as a cooperative, separating its financial activities from its broader multiactive cooperative roots in 2000. The company’s mission center is to deliver social development through financial solutions, while its vision aspires to be the model cooperative in the country. A recent development noted is the continued establishment and identity as Financiera Comultrasan, with a strong regional footprint in northern Colombia.
