Based in San Diego, FDH has always been committed to a strong statewide presence. Today, our PPO network includes more than 18,000 credentialed dentist locations, making FDH the largest independent network in the state of California.

In anticipation of a time when controlling dental costs would require new and innovative solutions, First Dental Health has established an Exclusive Provider network (EPO & PPO PLUS) that now includes more than 13,000 credentialed dentist locations. The EPO & PPO PLUS networks offers deeper discounts as a standalone product, or as a network within a PPO program.

Today, First Dental Health networks are available to more than 800,000 members in more than 5,500 groups through over 60 insurance companies and TPAs. By offering greater network access and greater network savings, FDH ensures the highest level of satisfaction for employers and their employees.
