The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a statewide nonprofit established in 1957 to provide child-care services for disadvantaged children. Its core offerings include three residential campuses in Live Oak, Bartow, and Safety Harbor that provide stable homes and ongoing support for youth. Each campus employs therapists, teachers, and other program staff, and features cottages staffed by full-time parents who live with the children to foster work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, and respect.
