Hi, I’m Dr. Mona Chattha, and I would love to be your dentist! I grew up in San Jose, CA, and attended the University of California, Irvine for my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Shortly thereafter, I ventured out and attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. My family and my love for Northern California brought me back to the Bay Area, where I have been working as a dentist, serving the community I grew up in. Through my various experiences, I have learned how to deal with a variety of dental issues and how to treat every aspect of my patients oral health needs. After 11 years, I decided to take my career to the next level and start my own practice in Morgan Hill. I am very lucky to have my family, my husband, daughter, and son, support me—when they’re not busy driving me bonkers, of course! In my free time, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, going on scenic bike rides, and decorating cakes. My love for working with my hands and helping people led me to choose dentistry as my profession.
Going to the dentist shouldn’t be scary. I am very passionate about teaching my patients about dental health and explaining personalized prevention and treatment plans for all their dental needs. I believe in explaining the procedures in a step-by-step fashion to help eliminate any anxiety the patient might be feeling. Patients comfort is very important to me, and I genuinely want my patients to have a positive experience at their dental visits. I strive to learn more, through continuing education classes focused on cutting-edge technological developments in the dental world, so that I may build upon my vast knowledge of dentistry to provide the best possible oral health care to my patients.
