Founded as a nonprofit in 1980, the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts is based in Burlington, Vermont, and operates a restored 1930 Art Deco landmark and a smaller performance space. It presents live performances on its Main Stage and FlynnSpace and extends its reach to classrooms and other community venues across the state, bringing music, dance, theater, and comedy to diverse audiences. The center emphasizes inclusive access, representation, and education to foster belonging and open new ways of seeing through the arts. The organization functions as a venue and presenter within Vermont's performing arts ecosystem, collaborating with artists to create and present new work.
