Focus on community is Racine's Substance Abuse Prevention Agency.  Focus has served Racine and Racine County for almost 35 years.  As a substance abuse prevention agency our mission is to educate and empower our community members to help eliminate substance abuse.

Prevention work is essential to addressing many of our societal issues.  Nearly every problem we face can in some way be linked either directly or indirectly back to substance abuse.  By supporting substance abuse prevention you are supporting efforts to reduce mental illness, physical disabilities, some terminal illnesses, abuse, neglect, violence, addiction, crime, environmental degradation and more.  You will also be helping efforts to improve academic performance, athletic performance, workplace performance, employment, graduation rates, and many other important topics.  Prevention is not just about stopping substance abuse, it is about improving our lives in a vast number of ways.

Everyone knows someone affected by substance abuse.  It is not someone else's problem and it does affect all of us.  Join us and learn more about how we can change the world by changing our perspective on prevention.
