The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is a regional hunger-relief organization based in Elmira, New York, established in 1981. It acquires and distributes more than 10 million pounds of food and grocery products each year through a network of over 160 partner agencies, including food pantries, meal programs, shelters, and other hunger-relief organizations across six counties: Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Tompkins. The organization operates direct-service programs such as the BackPack Program and Mobile Food Pantry Program, complementing the work of its partners. It is part of the civic and social organizations landscape and functions within Feeding America as a regional agency of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester.

Its work focuses on coordinating community resources to ensure access to healthy food for people in need throughout the Southern Tier. The network serves individuals and families through partner agencies and direct-service programs designed to reduce hunger and support well-being. In October 2025, it launched a Food Finder tool to help people locate available food resources in their area.
