Forward Corporation is a diverse fifth-generation company that has been serving customers across the state of Michigan since 1925. Today, we operate many brands and businesses and proudly employ over 1,000 people across four divisions spanning 24 counties. 

Known primarily for its convenience stores, Forward operates 26 Shell and 5 Marathon stations in communities across the thumb, central, and Northern Michigan and is the oldest Shell Jobber in the United States. Forward is the largest Subway franchisee in Michigan, with nearly 60 restaurants in both standalone and convenience locations. 

Forward also owns and operates a thriving hospitality division that consists of hotels, conference space, and the Lumber Jack restaurant in West Branch.

T.R. McTaggart has been a recognized leader in the screen printing, embroidery, and promotional product industry for over 50 years and serves tourist and resort destinations across the country. 

Forward Energy is a heating fuels business and serves over 7,000 residential and commercial customers with propane, fuel oil, gasoline, and diesel.
